Paramore News: Farro brothers leave band

Zac and Josh Farro have announced that they are leaving Paramore. Hayley goes as far as saying that, "for the last year it hasn't seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore." She goes on to say that this was talked about months in advance and that the guys had told the band that they would be leaving the band after the show in Orlando, FL last Sunday. Paramore have decided to continue as a band and aren't breaking up. In the classy and good style, they are wishing their ex-bandmates the best of luck.

There is also a new song posted on a SoundCloud page under the username TunnelMusic, which is credited to be by Zac Farro and a JJ Clark.

Upcoming Concert: The Wombats at The Satellite in Los Angeles

The Satellite (formerly Spaceland), is having British rockers, The Wombats on Wednesday, January 12th, 2011. The event is 21+ but has gotten this blogger interested. For $12-$14 a ticket, it's not a bad deal. They won me over with their 2008 hit, "Let's Dance to Joy Division", and their entire album, The Wombats Proudly Present: A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation

Now about this one, I have no idea what he's done aside from scoring the 2001 foreign romantic comedy, Amélie. But even so, that is one of my all time favorite films and the music is just amazing. Go check out for yourself and give it a listen. I'm recommending it in the sense of film and soundtrack, it's a double win! Yann Tiersen is set to play next year at the Music Box in Hollywood on Friday, March 11th, 2011. And on Saturday, January 8th, 2011 she will be performing at the Echoplex in Los Angeles, CA as well. RATM to record new material in 2011?

According to blogger David at DownRodeo.org, Rage Against The Machine are recording new tunes to debut in 2011 along with 4 hour shows. His source is a Spanish interview posted on http://diario.latercera.com. Zack De La Rocha says that during RATM's years, they haven't made it to Latino America due to a knee injury at the time and to make up for it they are playing Chile soon and it should be a 4 hour concert. He says the band has practiced a lot of new songs that they want to debut. They're looking to record a new album that will be released hopefully Summer 2011. The band has been confirmed to do a short South American tour in October, performing at venues such as the SWU Festival in Brazil, the Maquinaria Festival in Chile, and Pepsi Music Festival in Argentina. It is their first time playing in South America.

Straight from Reading, Pennsylvania, I have the pleasure of introducing and recommending the talent that is Innerpartysystem. Three talented individuals performing electro/synth/rock/dance with the lyrics that can make your heart swoon. Their debut EP, The Download EP, was released in 2007 with their self-titled debut album being released in 2008 was enough to get this blogger's attention. If you're into Depeche Mode, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Shiny Toy Guns, or Blaqk Audio then you will really love the electronic element to this band.
